What Is AirRack?
Unlike traditional DAWs, AirRack focuses on live operation, fast access, and real-time control rather than music production or multitrack recording.
Key Features of AirRack
AirRack is built around several dedicated racks, each serving a specific role in a live sound workflow.
🎚 Amplifier Rack
The Amplifier acts as the main output stage, connecting AirRack directly to your audio interface. All audio signals eventually pass through this rack before reaching the speakers or broadcast system.
🎛 Mixer Rack
The Mixer allows you to route and balance signals from multiple racks into the amplifier. This is essential for managing different sound sources during live operation.
🎧 Effects Rack (VST Support)
AirRack includes dual Effects racks that support VST effect plug-ins. This allows users to add reverb, delay, compression, EQ, and other effects in real time.
🎹 VSTi Rack
With the VSTi rack, AirRack can host virtual instruments for real-time performance, making it possible to play synths or sampled instruments live.
▶ MP3 Player
The built-in MP3 Player lets you play audio files instantly, ideal for jingles, background music, or pre-recorded sound cues.
💿 CD Player
AirRack also supports CD playback, allowing users to trigger tracks directly from a CD-ROM drive—useful for legacy broadcast or stage setups.
🔁 Loop Player
The Loop Player is designed to play audio files continuously, making it suitable for ambient backgrounds or repeating sound beds.
🔊 Sound FX Rack
This rack functions as a simple sampler, enabling quick triggering of sound effects such as hits, transitions, audience reactions, or Foley sounds.
🎚 Graphic EQ
A 31-band Graphic EQ is included for precise tonal control, especially useful for live sound correction and system tuning.
MIDI and Keyboard Control

This makes AirRack suitable for live operators who need fast, reliable access to sounds without using a mouse during a performance or broadcast.
